Could you include some code(or something) so that we can see what is wrong? Read the guidelines on how to ask good questions. User#21908 42 — 6y

I don't think he needs to type his code since the player dies even though the crouch animation is played. The only code is pressing the button and doing the crouch animation (which obviously works because it states, "When I press my button I do the crouch animation...") saSlol2436 716 — 6y

The HumanoidRootPart is stationary. You could try cframeing it or something, but that would move the whole character, I think. So instead of moving the torso in the animation, just move the legs up. Might take a few tries to make it look natural. minikitkat 687 — 6y

So like a rig you have a humanoidroot part that part sits on your torso or uppertorso.

The reason you are still dieing when you play animation is because, you animated the character the rig the mesh part, so your character looks like it is crawling but the humanoidroot part the part that takes damage is still in its default position which is in the center where the torso is even though you don't see it that's because it is invisible.

And when animating, if you used the plugin that bright blue square that you click on the dummy to start animating that is the humanoidroot part that is hitting the spikes, which is why you die.

That is what happening.
