Reverb audio effect not playing on music?

I used the Cindering music player and inserted all my music, I added the "reverb sound effect" and enabled it, it still plays without the sound effect. I tried going to soundservice in the explorer and changing "No Reverb" to something else, still doesn't work. I also tried adding the sounds without the music player along with a script I saw in a video (i tried w/ music player too) which enables the reverb and it worked but after one sound the other ones dont play. Please help!
