How could I make a script detect if a spotlight is hitting a part?

Asked by 10 years ago

I have a flashlight with a spotlight on the end, emitting light, but I would like a script to be able to detect when the light from the spotlight has hit a part.

Thank you, Cylocx

I would attach a wielded brick to the end of the flashlight. And when that brick enters the "magnitude of the other part". Something happens.

Magnitude-Magnitude is like a invisible sphere and when something enters the radius it triggers something.

Attaching to the light-Just the brick to the front end of the flashlight.
