Any way to make a billboard GUI turn invisible to a player at distance?

I want to edit a script that I have that puts a health GUI above a player, Is there a way I can do this? I know there is a way to find if a player is a distance away from a player. (I believe this has to be in a normal script for this method.. I don't know if that will ruin the script or not) But is there any other way then doing that?

Edit: The billboard gui has to be visible to others if they are close enough to see it.
