Open a player's backpack via script?

Is there a way to open a player's inventory using a script? I'd like to create a button positioned right next to the tenth tool slot that opens the player's inventory when clicked.

I'm aware there's a default button for this located on the top left corner of the screen, I just find it inconvenient for new players who don't know about its existence. Since my game comes with a lot of tools this is a considerable problem.
