Touched not firing with Anchored parts?

Asked by 6 years ago

I have 2 parts both are anchored and can collide. When the first part touches the second part, the touched event doesn't fire. But if I un-anchor the second part, then the touched event fires.

Is this a bug or is that supposed to happen?

I think that's with the collide or something. Not sure though, you should try.

It's pretty much because they're anchored. If the parts aren't moving, and are touching eachother from the beginning, then the touched event won't fire until one moves if they're both anchored. As long as they're anchored, they can't move without a script moving them, therefore the touched event never fires until an unanchored part touches it.
