Guys i think ive messed up somehow, this has never happend to me before, what could the problem be?

Note: Filtering Enabled is on

My problem is that the server of some reason doesnt care about my part called handle. I got my tool in starterpack but whenever i equip it, it goes to the default position of were it would be if you didnt set any position of it.

for example say you put a part in workspace at the cordinate 20,-10,150. if you would change its parent to replicatedstorage it would disappear from the 3d World ish. If you set the parent back to workspace it would appear again at the same position.

In my case the parts of the gun tool is at the right position on the client(welded together with the handle wich is welded to your right arm) but on the server there is no gun welded to the arm at were the gun was located on the client. Instead it shows up at the default position not, the gun itself is welded together. The problem is that the handle isnt welded to the right arm(it is on the client)

If i were to turn of Filtering Enabled it would work just fine. So a Summery of this is that the Handle doesnt weld to the right arm of the character while it does on the client. I didnt have this issue before so i Think i created the problem, but i cant recall what i could have done to create this bug.

Im pretty familiar with Filtering Enabled btw

Appriciate any help;)

I know this sounds dumb, but... make sure your handle is named "Handle" with an uppercase, make sure the tool is set to require a handle, and make sure that you are using a regular script for your gun. MakeYourEscape 334 — 6y
