Play a animation when you touch a part (like super mario 64 when you touch a star) help?

Hello everybody first of all im really noob in scripting,i really want anything so simple here a example (If someone body play games like super mario when you collect a star or a moon mario make a animation that i want ) i want when you touch a part your player make a animation how can i do that i can't do that please help!
