What would you need to do to recreate a flutter jump in roblox?

What I mean by a flutter jump script is like Yoshi's ability to stay afloat in the air when you hold down the jump button. How would you recreate something like this in Roblox?

I'm not really looking for a code answer, just something to push me in the right direction.
