How to position a gui from studio exactly to player?

Asked by 7 years ago

Hello,

I love messing around with guis and all of that, but lately Studio has been annoying me with the way it positions gui differently from player, I use scaling for my guis (scale property in size and position). I disable uis and view systems to see how it looks fullscreen in studio, but when i join in player its still different and you can see the HUGE difference.

I am sorry if this is not a scripting question, but idk if it is or isn't. I heard there are objects in insert objects menu that allow you to make it the same in mobile, player and stuff but idk.

Is there a way to actually do it or do I need to go back and forth from studio and player to fix it?

Thanks, Appreciate the offer to help.

Sorry I hadn't understood what you actually want to tell, You want to set a exact size of a GUI or want to make a GUI for a single player Or a GUI on the head of the players? TheSkyofIndia 150 — 7y

"player" is client, the app where you play roblox, I want the gui scaling and position to be exact in studio like when you play it in roblox player. Arti_BLOX 58 — 7y

There might be ways to do it:

1 - Have another screen on full-screen with everything (like Explorer, Properties Panel, etc) toggled off, to help you with it.

2 - Be in Emulator mode in studio and when it looks good, scale it half of that size.

Wait, if I use Emulator, it will be like Roblox Player and will look normal (to everyone on roblox player) if I turn it on to the highest res? Arti_BLOX 58 — 7y

If that was the case, do that! thesit123 509 — 7y
