I wanna add a script into my game but I don't know how. Can you help?

Hey I'm new to scripting and I wanna add a script to my game but I don't know how to make it work. It's my favorite so can you help please? Anyone?

What do you mean you don't know how to add a script to the workspace? because it should be somewhere in one of the tabs and it should look like a blue script thing. if you need help with scripting I'm not that good at it so ask someone else. JohnerDev 27 — 6y

I might be able to help, but what is the question? Is the question how do you get a script into the workspace or are are you asking how to script a certain thing? Skyraider5 -21 — 6y

I posted a comment about my confusion with your question but if you are asking how to get an empty script into the workspace (and not how to actually script something to do something) then you would right click on where it says workspace and an options menu will show up, then you look down on the options to where it says insert object and hover your mouse over that button, a new menu will pop up with all of the things that you can add into the workspace, look on that menu and find where it says script (there are a few different types of scripts but you can probably just find a regular script which is the one named "Script"), then you click on the button that says "Script" in that menu and a new empty script will show up. You can then write your code in that script and it will work (as long as you coded it correctly).

In short, right click workspace, find Insert object and hover over it, find "Script", and a new script will pop up.

I hope that answers your question, sorry if I misunderstood it, but if you want help on actually scripting something then in your question write what you want your script to do and, if you have one, add your script into the question.
