How to make ingame checkboxes (voting system)?

I'm simply very new to code and all of these words are hard to understand but I have achieved being able to make an open/close button for my game, it's just that I don't know how to make checkboxes. I want it so that players have to vote (at the same time) by checking as many boxes as they like other than their own, and if they don't vote, they are disqualified. I don't think there is any point in showing you what code I already have tried because i'm genuinely lost lol. How can I do this? Thank you for any help!!
