How to make a moving line like (Dancing Line)??

I'm working on a recreation of Dancing Line Called Dancing Blox. Now I'm finished with the lvl of The Beginning but still can't figure out how to make a block leave a line behind it.

Any their have a idea how I can make this? Should I use clone & then the clones have a removal timer? Or is there a better way...

(I don't have any script to this yet) & it is a 1 player lvl.
