If you mean Local Script and a Script, the difference is scripts can run things for a whole server, ServerScriptService and Workspace. Local Scripts run only for a Player which is StarterPlayerScripts.

those aren't called notes. those are comments and they do exist in native lua. LegitimatlyMe 519 — 7y
