FilteringEnabled damage script wont work? [closed]

So recently I decided to make a new FE game. Usually when I make moves, I like to make my damage scripts function inside the script itself. But in FE the players don't die then. So I put a server script in the game that works as damage but whenever I clone it and set the move asset as its parent the move asset / mesh spawns or quickly floats into the air, sometimes this also happens to other meshes without the damage script! How do I fix this?
