best way to create a beveled gui?

Asked by 7 years ago

Hi, what is the best way to make a gui with beveled/rounded edges with clean color and no black edges? I'm just trying to make a plain beveled square that's colored. no images on it etc. I tried NineSlice by Stravant but it creates a beveled gui with black edges/outline. I tried to use Stretchtype: slice with an image of a beveled square, but for some reason it also creates this odd shadow and black outline from the decal of the beveled square.

The black edges are from the image you used, not the 9Slice. Even when a pixel is transparent, it still has color data associated with it. You can test this with the color picker in Pain.net. XAXA 1569 — 7y

Set the background transparency of the frame to 0 and add a decal with rounded edges Or create one that is to your liking

You could make a frame in Photoshop or something similar, do anything you want, upload to Roblox as a decal, use a ImageLabel and you're all done.
