Solid Pose Animation in NPC?

Asked by 6 years ago

Hi, I am needing to create some ads with npcs, how would I go about say, putting an npc with his arm crossed? I'm not interested in making it play an animation, it just needs to be there. I know how to do this by moving the body parts around, but it takes so long, especially with R15 npcs. I used to use a glitch with the animation editor plugin to setup the animation, and then close sudio. when i came back the plugin would no longer be visible, and the npc would still have its pose.

Thanks in advance!

To make a solid pose, you should insert a dummy first. You could search up "dummy" in models or insert one via animation editor. When your done, un-group the dummy and you can easily rotate, move, or scale each body part and position them until your needs have been met. You can also add clothes and pants via "Advanced Objects" in the Model tab. Animations aren't needed at all.

Thank you for your help, but I already knew how to make an npc, and to ungroup them, and that I don't have to have an animation. What I mean is, I will have so many animations to make I don't have time to have to rotate and resize, I wish I could just use the animation editor like I used to. What I need to do is be able to simple rotate, no having to move back into the right position. It takes too The_Jetcraft 7 — 6y

Found a way! I just have to save the selection to roblox first.
