Is it possible to make a two player split screen?

I wanted to make a local co-op game, with 2 player split screen, so just wondering is it possible to modify the camera to do this? Just want to know if it can be done.

I would just zoom the camera out to show both players, this is commonly done in co-op games. User#5423 17 — 7y

You Technically could make it split-screen. The way you could do this is by having two players share use one camera and use Magnitude to find out how far apart they are, and as they move apart, zoom out.

True but i wanted to have a split screen, like in a Lego Video game, but if i can't do it than i will find some other solution. NexeusX 137 — 7y

I believe that would be beyond roblox's capability. The main reason is because it would require the game to be rendered twice, once for each camera needed. pluginfactory 463 — 7y

It currently is not possible to make a "split screen" that you're talking about. Each device can only load 1 ROBLOXian character, therefore only 1 Camera is present. You can't create a new Camera since ROBLOX prevents it, and it'd mess with their scripts.

It is currently possible to be able to create a splitscreen game on ROBLOX with a new feature called ViewportFrames, although there are no shadows and features are missing.
