Animations with Tools(Non backpack)?

I am currently developing a game, and I made my own inventory system instead of Roblox's. My question is, how do you make animations with tools without equipping them in your back pack? I just have an axe but I want to use an animation that a character swings this axe but once the animation is over the axe is out of his hand?
