Ideas on how I can implement certain physics for a game I'm making?

Asked by 8 years ago

Okay so the ro-skating community is dead but I am working to revive it. I just need ideas on how I could make a lock-on script for boards to stick to rails until you press spacebar to jump off. I will get my friends to help me script it. I just need ideas on how I can do it. It should be possible as the scripter who helped make ro-skate tricks possible was working on a lock-on grind script until he became inactive. Thank you, for any help. Any questions about the project you can ask, just reply.

This isn't a request or discussion site, but you could:

  • Try using a weld and then moving it
  • Try preventing the character's y position from changing
  • Put a transparent brick over the player's head (ugly hack)
