What happens if multiple players use the same remote event?

Asked by 7 years ago

Hi, I'm a bit confused on remote events, and I did my best to understand it from the wiki. I currently want a rotating brick to replicate to the server through a server event, and thus be visible to all players. However, I'm wondering what happens if multiple players each have the brick of their own, and they use the same remote event object to give information to the server. Would that be a problem? Would I need to create a new remote event object for every new player? Thanks in advance!

The first argument is the player that fired the event. 1waffle1 2908 — 7y

Ok, but I'm using a string argument to control the brick which is the second one. Not sure what I would use the first argument for. SilentAim 36 — 7y

No, it shouldn't matter, as long as they are all affecting a different part. Perci1 4988 — 7y
