How do I make an NPC fly?

Asked by 10 years ago

OK so let's just say I have an NPC and I want it to fly but only a couple studs up in the air, what would I use to make it go a FEW studs in the air?

You can try using BodyVelocity, which is an object you can insert into parts to make them 'float'. There is a position value in which you can change to have them appear 'hovering'.

The problem is that if I insert BodyVelocity to an object, will it be able to move? And remember it's only a few studs up into the air and BodyVelocity makes it fly forever. CharcterKaiser 0 — 10y

Um, could you add transparent parts under it's feet? If you want it to fly all of the time and not super high this could be a quick and simple fix. Not sure if it would work, just giving out ideas.

That might not work as this NPC I'm making is a Winged Zombie. CharcterKaiser 0 — 10y

If you've played Keyboard Hero you see Winged Zombies as well, I'm trying to make it like them. CharcterKaiser 0 — 10y
