I want to have a game where the actual rounds you play are on different servers than the lobbies, where you buy things. Like for instance, Billy has a level two mega-chicken sword he bought in the lobby, he decides to play a round of the game (which is on a different server). Billy wants his mega-chicken sword in the round, but the developer of the game doesn't know how to get data from the lobby to the game round :(. Is there any way I could get what sword Billy has in another server?
Much like GoldenPhysics commented but did not answer, you should read the wiki for DataStores. They persist throughout your place's "universe," including servers and child games of your place. They are very easy to use and allow for some great organization.
