How would I make an object drag-able in game?

How would i make it possible for someone to click on a model and drag it similar to how things are on 'Lumber Tycoon 2'? I've tried a few things and i'm a bit brain stumped here. I'm making a game where people design specific things at a time limit and this is vital.

If someone could help me with this, in advance, i'm extremely grateful. Thank you. Lua isn't my best, I'm more of a web guy! Haha.
