Is there a way you can 'bind' an event/loop to a sound?

Asked by 8 years ago

By this I mean, is there a way you can view the in-sound volume (as in, the audio volume levels, not the Sound Volume property). My reason for wanting this is because I want to make some GUIS move to the beat of the currently playing audio.

How would you go about doing this? Any suggestions?

Thank you!

You can't
Sad face

Roblox currently doesn't offer any API for getting the current volume of a sound as it is playing, and only offers the Volume property for changing the relative volume of it. 'Tis a crying shame.

Thank you! And yes, it is a very shameful shame. TheDeadlyPanther 2460 — 8y
