what do i use for user built clothing?

i built clothing for my character and i was wondering how do i get this build onto my character? would i have to use welds or a morph? i really have no idea how to do this and some guidance/ youtube video would be nice

I have never tried this before so I have no clue if it will work. Based on things I have read on the roblox blog you could use an attachment object and simply attach it to the player torso, head etc. It really depends on what you are doing with it. In some cases a morph is the better choice. In other cases a weld may be the better choice. For instance, if you placed an invisible part about where.. AZDev 590 — 8y

I just created an example model for what I tried to explain above. If you are interested I can publish it and let you review it and maybe even use it. It's not the most user friendly model but if you know some code and how to weld you should be able to use it. @Me here if this helps. AZDev 590 — 8y

You would want to morph this to the character. I'd recommend separating the model into the different bodyparts (so the parts which should be connected to the legs should be in their own models) so that you can weld the clothing to the character's bodyparts and have them attach to the respective limbs.
