Custom chat gui?
I wanted to know if custom chat gui's still had safechat and didn't allow guests to type, I already have one set up but not sure if it goes around those 2 limitations.

You would have to create your own safe chat messures. Fortunately Roblox has introduced FilterStringAsync which will filter a string from a player to a player. It will return a string filtered at the level Roblox would filter user chats. M39a9am3R 3210 — 8y

So a custom chat gui does not have safechat, so all users who have safechat on would simply not experience it for that specific game, Conmmander 479 — 8y

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? There is no "you can't talk" safechat anymore. That is reserved for guests which you can easily manage to remove a chat bar for. Using FilterStringAsync will take the chat one user is trying to say, put it through their filter, and filtering it through for another filter, using their filter. So whitelist can not say anything that blacklist can hear. M39a9am3R 3210 — 8y
