Levitation instead of stairs? HELLPPP

Basically instead of stairs I want to use a pad that sort of levitates you to the next floor, how would I do this.

PS I don't want to use the standard velocity change because its to fast

If you search around, someone's found out the coefficient of gravity for Roblox's physics engine, just set a BodyForce to a number just over it when you touch the pad. You can have it destroy itself just after, it should lead to a smooth levitation. MBacon15 97 — 8y

I mean destroy the BodyForce put into your torso, so you fall again MBacon15 97 — 8y
