Basic Scripting help?

Hello, I just started scripting on roblox and i need some help with the basics. like Teleporting or intros if you get this message please tell me i appreciate it.

Go to the wiki A LOT, it is the PERFECT place for when you are beginning but after that I would suggest going to youtube for some tutorials, and always constantly come here and check out other peoples questions, and and read what people have to say why it was wrong. IcyEvil 260 — 8y

There are and endless variety of tutorials you can look up.

I recommend either AlvinBlox or Peaspod! Personally, I learned by watching them both, and by looking at free models.

If you ever need help learning a certain concept of scripting, then wiki is the most useful. You can also do a youtube search and that will help you.

I find a lot of tutorials to be pretty lame and mundane, so me recommending tutorials is amazing/surprising.

A few tips: Learning does not happen instantly, it takes a long time. Make a game that isn't difficult to make while you are learning, this will keep the learning fresh in your brain and help you out in the long run! You can always ask for help on here or on the Scripter Forums of Roblox. You could always post on the script forums asking for a tutor/teacher.
