"Glueing" an Airplane and a Car together?

I try to build a Pushback (Car that push the Plane away from the Gate). If i attach the Car to the Plane, it should look like the Plane and the Car are one vehicle (Like this: https://youtu.be/B_S5DJu7bso?t=5m33s)

How do that works? Do it works with Welds?
