How do you make a npc walk aroun in circles?

I am making a attack on titan game. I am trying to make it so that a titan npc walks around the map randomly. When you are in a certain distance, it waves its hand around like a punch. If you get touched by it you get some health taken off. I know you need a animation script and random maths, but could someone give me the actual script?
