How to learn scripting faster?

I'm going try to break this down to the best of my abilities , this is not a request just a simple question . I like to script and I sometimes look at the wiki but its like my brain is reading the information constantly but I'm not understanding how to use it , I want to be a really good scripter and use intro GUI's and song playlist from my game but I don't how , could someone give me tips for learning how to script as fast as possible and always know how to break down every problem .
