How do I override the default walking animation?

Asked by 10 years ago

I want to be able to have the running animation that was popular among fiddler users in my game. I believe you can override the default walking animation, however I do not possess the skills needed to do this. Does anyone know how?

You can copy the animation script from a character in 'Play Solo' and then in the walking animation section of the script, remove it and insert your own animation code. Then when a user spawns in your place, remove their animation script and insert your own.

That would work, but do you know where I would find the animation script? Jophnist 10 — 10y

In studio, go to Tools>Test>Play Solo, and then when it loads up, find your character in the Workspace. Inside, you should see the animation script, copy it, and then paste it in your actual place, not the play solo one. Sublimus 992 — 10y

Wait, how do I get it to run when I enter the game? Say a player enters the game, how do I make them have that animation script? Jophnist 10 — 10y
