Can you script a skill tree on roblox?
I realize this is a pretty stupid question but I barely know basics of scripting and I want to make a skill tree type script with a gui, is this too advanced for me, should I try, any tips or something like that?

you can script it, there was this star wars game that had it once. and it would be pretty much a bunch of text/image buttons inside of a frame. theCJarmy7 1293 — 8y

You're going to have to learn the basics before you attempt to make a skill tree. There's a lot you need to know, such as basic syntax, events, special aspects of local scripts, and much more. aquathorn321 858 — 8y

So i would say that there are several ways that you can script this but i think the most effective method would be object-oriented programming this allows you to create an object called skill and use it throughout your program
