[ANSWERED] How do you turn off player collisions?

Asked by 9 years ago

I'm creating a Portal remake and I want the player to 'fall through' the portal when it touches it. The only problem is floor collision directly under it. I've tried removing the HumanoidRootPart but that just turns me into a vegetable. Please help Aesahp. As in right now?

Hmm... I know what you mean. There is something like that where the player's characters cannot collide with one another in The Normal Elevator, but I think it'd be more efficient to just turn the portal's collision off and then back on, or just stay off. lightpower26 399 — 9y

That's not quite what I mean. There is collision under the portal. I want to completely turn off collisions altogether. ChemicalHex 979 — 9y

And why not just remove collision on the floor for a little bit? Perci1 4988 — 9y

Don't you have FilteringEnabled in your game? Why not just turn off the floor collision from a LocalScript? Spongocardo 1991 — 9y
