easier way to weld?

Asked by 8 years ago

Is there an easier way to weld or do other joints. I find it extremely tedious playing solo a bunch of times just to get the C1 and C0 properties. Is there a way you can edit it while in play solo mode and then write down the values once you get them? I've also seen with welding there is a way of making a weld while keeping the brick in its original rotation and position to the parent part, such as the Handle in a tool. If anyone has any advice that would be extremely helpful!

There are several tools that you can use to weld two parts together while in Solo, however, the name escapes me. After you use the tool, however, you can upload it as a model (with the welds). DeadToMe 105 — 8y

If you want to weld two parts together such that they retain their current relative orientations, do math:

weld.C0=a.CFrame:inverse()*b.CFrame
weld.Part0=a
weld.Part1=b
