Inserting custom models into workspace?

Asked by 9 years ago

I'm trying to figure out how to import a model from my robloxian inventory into the roblox studio from My Models, but the information I've come across is all outdated. There is no tab from My Models under toolbox as far as I can tell. Can anyone help me?

Are you logged in Studio? ISellCows 2 — 9y

On top of the screen on studio click View > Toolbox > then go to the toolbox and click the dropdown menu > My Models

Your model should appear there if it's in your inventory

I tried that, but the only options are "Decals, Models, Roblox Sets" aquathorn321 858 — 9y

Before you can access your models and sets via Studio, you must log in first. At the starter page (which i hope you didn't modify), log in from there, at the top right of the page (NOT the studio). Afterwards you can open a new place and then access your models.

If you log in after you've opened a place/the toolbox, you'll have to close and open the Toolbox again. To not have to do that, however, you will want to have logged in before you open the place/toolbox.

If the toolbox still won't update, you will have to reinstall the studio. You can uninstall it separately from the player where you uninstall any other program and download it at the Develop page.

I don't think logging in is the problem. Ran a simulation in studio and it loaded my character as the player. aquathorn321 858 — 9y

I guess you'll have to reinstall the studio as a last resort then. You can separately uninstall it where you uninstall any other program, and download it at roblox.com/develop. Marios2 360 — 9y
