How do I backweld?

I've been trying to make a welding scipt for a melee weapon I made.I want it to display the weapon onto my character's back while I have it unequipped. The problem is that all i find are backwelding scripts for melee weapons that only use the handle and a mesh over it,so I don't know how to specify where the other parts of the weapon go.(My weapon is a model, not a single part).I have a normal welding script on the weapon,I can hold it in my hand while it's equipped, but I just can't figure out how to specify the script that there are also other parts.I'd really like if someone could help me.Thanks for the time.

There's no free model.I made a weapon model, and I tried to make a backwelding script, but I can't figure out how to tell the script that the torso of the player is a brick and that I want the handle and other parts to weld to it. Empoly 0 — 9y

How are the other parts connected to the handle? If they're welded to the handle, then they should maintain their position yo the handle when it is welded to your back. aquathorn321 858 — 9y
