Script vs Local Script?

Quick question, when would you use script vs local script and why?

regular scripts are more so a server side thing. They run on the server, making changes to the server. Local scripts are script that are local just to the player. For example. For user input service, it can only be run from a local script inside of player. Also for a local script to work IT MUST be inside of the player or its character. Scripts can be ran from anywhere except server storage and lightning.

And by Player, he means the player instance, not the character. This includes things like backpacks and player GUI. Maxwell_Edison 105 — 9y

I use localscript in some cases when it comes to using LocalPlayer, and Mouse functions. Also, some scripts I use break, and localscripts fix the problem .3.
