Your question really depends on yourself, and your current knowledge of Lua, and coding in general. How much do you know thus far? It would really help me to further answer your question knowing that you know what an if statement is, what a function is, or how to print "Hello World". Never the less, all of them are basic topics that you ought to know if you plan to write scripts for ROBLOX.

Anyway, using, and understanding CFrame's are two entirely different things that you should learn, but to utilize what CFrames can do is much easier. On the most basic side, a CFrame is the X, Y, and Z coordinates for which an object is placed. There are numerous Roblox Studio plugins, and even in-game tools that you can look up on the catalog so that you can change each value of X, Y, and Z in-game. Just start messing around with them. Honestly, thats the easiest way I found to learn on your own what each value means, and how to use them effectively.

If you have any further questions I would be happy to answer them, I hope this helps.

I can't really give you any advice myself, But I can tell you about C-frame. C-framing is moving a part on any axis through any brick. To be simple, C-framing is moving a brick around regardless of the parts around it. C-framing allows you to make more detailed things and helps you progress throughout building. You can find many C-framing tools throughout ROBLOX, Especially on the catalogue. A Multi-tool I would recommend is F3X Building tools. Takes a while to figure it out, But it's an amazing tool that I use often. Hope that helped! ^ -llllll
