How do you make animations?

How do you shoot a fireball out of your hand or something?

Im completely clueless about this, so i'd really appreciate a relatively detailed explanation so I can make my own.

You can use roblox's animation editor. It takes time, and there is a tutorial on the wiki. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Animations
