In your opinion, what would be the best way to 'animate' a non-humanoid?

Asked by 9 years ago

I've got a model which I'd like to animate, but no clue whatsoever on how to do it.

Model : https://gyazo.com/2ba96098d0beff410a6d3286f5363b04 Workspace : https://gyazo.com/b88ca11978b945fb10333d77de96f036

Basically, I'd like to make it do a slash of sorts, but my scripting knowledge is limited to that of Wikipedia basics, and a potato for a brain.

Any answer would be very appreciated!

Additional note : I'd like to point out that I have attempted to do this, but to no avail since I have very basic scripting knowledge. TherasRedox 5 — 9y

I like the question it's very intuitive but I don''t think it fits the Scripting Helpers Theme but sense it's so good I will answer it.

My Way Motors are what I used for a framework I made to make custom animations for free. This is essentially what roblox animations are but the way they are fired is more simplified as making animations require alot of intense math. If you are good with the rotation matrix then I'm sure you could do it!

You have either motors or welds.
