What is a good way to learn lua?
I have been wanting to get into scripting for roblox, and I don't know exactly where to start out. I have the Programming in Lua second edition, but for me, things like the wiki and that book don't really help me with learning Lua. I have been asking some people I know where they learnt how to script, but all I have heard is from the wiki, can anyone tell me some good places to learn for an absolute beginner?

Many ways Use Youtube videos like Peaspod,Diy videos with Roblox. There are many other ways to learn lua. Try reading the Roblox Wiki
Well I can't do that, but to improve your scripting, you can do one of these few things a day:
We all want to be great scripters.. don't we? Well, some things I would reccomend you to do is search up scripting tutorials on youtube. Friaza, Pesapod, (I've never watched them, but I hear they help).
Tutorials are a great way of getting started with scripting. On the wiki, they have made many tutorials ranging from newbie to expert. You can get started over here:

Over here you can see all tutorials, from building to scripting to full game creation.
If you scroll down, you will find the scripting section I would begin at the Beginner section. they are arranged from the easiest to the hardest.
Another thing I would consider is looking at roblox cookbooks.

This is basically, well... a cookbook. I'm thinking of making pasta today, I'll reference the cookbook. I'm thinking of making a ChildAdded/RemoveEvent... I'll reference the cookbook.
Even asking someone in the community chat for a scripting challenge can improve your scripting, and like so, you can reference the cookbook for that too.

I looked at Youtube tutorials, and when they used terms I didn't know, I went to the Wiki which explained it to me. Just an idea. Studying directly from the wiki doesn't work for me either.
