Why won't my paint tool work?

I know this isn't really a scripting question but I tried the forums and got no answer so hopefully someone here knows how to fix it.

Anyways, I was working on my place and for some strange reason, now my paint tool won't work. I'm using the old roblox studio (The UI Style is System Menu) and the paint tool (Paint bucket) won't work. What I mean by this is that when I click the little down arrow next to it to select a color, it doesn't change color and stays on the default gray color. The only way I can manage to change what color it is selected as is by using the Pick Color tool right next to it.

Also, when I load up studio this error appears in the output bar, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the tool not working but here it is:

'The Parent property of GamepadService is locked, current parent: Place1, new parent NULL'

Please help

Just tried loading up a different place and the error above doesn't pop up, but I still have a broke paint tool. I don't think the error has anything to do with it. ghostblocks 74 — 8y

I think you should try restarting studio or restarting your laptop. If this doesn't work, I'll think of something else for you to try.
