How do I make a Leaderboard with KO's WO's and a points system?

I have tried looking at Youtube videos on how to make a leader board but I have been struggling to find anything useful I have been learning scripting from the Roblox tutorials and have come quite a ways but never came across anything to make a leader board. I am trying to make a game that is a free for all sword fight that consist of multiple rounds and maps. Each round a player would be awarded 10 points for a kill and 100 points for being the last player standing. Where would I start off for writing a script to do this? I have read other peoples leader board scripts for ideas but couldn't come find much that I understood well. Any advice, lines of code, functions etc. would be appreciated.
