How do I work elevator body position?

I have a really really simple script for an elevator that I intend to use, but I don't know how to make the invisible bodyposition bricks work.. The rest of the script works totally fine, other than the part that the elevator doesn't have the bodyposition stop bricks. Can anyone explain these to me?
