What is the rate at which a humanoid decelerates while standing?

Asked by 9 years ago

Basically what I want to know is what is the deceleration of a humanoid after it was pushed forward or after it was moved in general. I know that a humanoid only experiences deceleration horizontally when it is standing, so my question is what is the magnitude of the horizontal acceleration?

I need this for a script that will apply a force to an NPC for a certain amount of time to make it travel to a certain speed and I need to know the acceleration so I can counteract that with an extra bit of force.

Thanks.

I feel as if this is going towards your gun kit. unmiss 337 — 9y

It all depends on the friction of the part they're standing on. I'm not exactly sure how to get the exact amount though, sorry. dyler3 1510 — 9y
