How do I start to create a move object script?

I been trying to figure out how to make a script for moving objects in game. I don't want to have to use a tool to move this object. I just want a script that I can put in a model and then, in game be able to move this object freely. Im not asking to make me a script. I just need help with getting started. Like, is there a special object to do this.
