I got a problem with killing players, can someone help me ?

I am creating a fighting game, and I wanted to try with my friend my game. and there, with my sword, I started to attack him. but it gave him no damage, no matter what I did, it did not damage him. I do not understand how it is done. someone could explain me how to give damage again?

Issues that could be possible: I mainly believe this is your main issue if you are using teams in the game and If you and your friend are on the same team you would not be able to kill him. Other issues could be maybe you removed humanoid from the players or maybe the script in the sword no longer works or maybe you might have broken it if you were editing the script. Hope this helps!! Please provide a script and if there are any errors in output in your question post if the following didn't solve your problem
