Two weld parts moving independently?

Asked by 2 years ago

Hello guys! I want to make an amusement like the one shown in this video (watch minute 0:45): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBFA-iWASjU

The problem is that I have no idea of how in the world can I move/rotate two parts independently when they are weld. Does anyone know how to do it? If possible, using TweenService to make those bounces.

Your going to need to make sure you have no parts selected. Then hold alt or option on your keyboard then click on the part. Or go to your explorer tab and find the part and click on it in there. BTW This is a scripting website for help not a web to work the studio better.

What are you talking about? I'm asking if there is any way to move weld parts independently, during the game, to make what is shown in the video... Robloximario952 18 — 2y

If you want to make something like the amusement ride shown in the video you provided, I'd recommend using Roblox's physics engine and most definitely try stay away from any scripting for this project. (edit) I recommend staying away from scripting for anything OTHER than controlling physics objects.

Here's a few resources I could direct you to if you wish to take this approach:
